Home Remedies & Tinctures

First, let me say that I am NOT a doctor. And have never played one on TV. All the remedies and tinctures posted here are strictly recommendations. Use them at your own risk.

In these uncertain times, I think it's important to be able to learn home remedies and use them as much as possible without the use of prescribed drugs. Our medical system is designed to treat the symptoms, not cure the disease. Using natural remedies can not only help with the symptoms, but most often, cures. I'm currently using an herb called "Mullein". Mullein is what I call "God's Mucinex". We all know what Mucinex is used for, but Mullein not only helps get the mucus out of your lungs, but it also helps to heal the lungs from things like pneumonia, bronchitis and even the C-19 (I call it the "Beer Bug). So, just take a look at these ailments and consider using natural remedies.

Acne:

Orange peel - Grind in water to make a paste & apply to affected areas.

Honey & Cinnamon - 3 tbsp honey & 1 tbsp cinnamon to make a paste. Apply to affected areas before bed.

Blisters:

Petroleum Jelly - Apply to areas most likely to get blistered to help prevent.

Aloe Vera - Apply to affected areas to help heal.

Boils:

Grind 2 tbsp flaxseeds with water to make a paste. Apply to affected areas. It decreases inflammation & draws out infection.

Garlic - Apply juice of garlic to help ripen the boil. When ready, break the boil and evacuate the pus. Then use the flaxseed paste.

Peppermint Essential Oil - A few drops rubbed on the boil will provide antibacterial, anti-inflammatory & antiseptic effect.

Bruises:

Vinegar - Soak a cotton ball in vinegar and hold to the bruised area. Vinegar helps to speed healing.

Burns:

Aloe Vera - Apply to the burn to soothe & heal.

Vitamin E - Rub the burn with vitamin e oil to reduce scaring.

Coconut oil, Aloe Vera & Petroleum Jelly can all be used like store-bought chapstick.

Lemon - Tie a fresh slice of lemon over affected area and leave overnight.

Diabetes:

Turmeric - Fill turmeric powder into 00-sized gel capsules (Amazon is a great place to get these) & take 2 capsules 3 times a day.

Diaper Rash:

Coconut oil, Aloe Vera or Petroleum Jelly. Rub either of these on the affected area.

Diarrhea:

Sometimes, it's best to let it run it's course because that's the body's way of getting rid of waste and toxins. You can also eat bananas. They help build the body's healthy bacteria.

Dry Skin:

Lavender Oil - Add to your bath water and soak for 30 minutes.

Coconut Oil - Apply to affected areas.

Earache:

Warm Compress.

Garlic Oil - Put 2-3 drops of garlic oil in each ear & leave overnight.

P.M.S:

Psoriasis:

There is no cure for psoriasis. However, there are ways to keep it at bay.

Coconut Oil - Use as a lotion twice a day.

Aloe Vera - Again, use as a lotion twice a day.

Ringworm:

Garlic - Apply crushed garlic to affected areas twice a day.

Sunburn:

Thank you for your question. What I do is I take a palm full of dried mullein and steep it in boiling water for 4 hours. Strain it and drink the tea. You can add raw honey for taste, but mullein doesn't have much of a flavor as is.
